The Poker Night in America “Cash Game”kicked off yesterday with the first of three sessions to be played this weekend. Two players who participated in yesterday’s game are in today’s field in search of a return trip to the Poker Night stage.

Mike Ross takes part in a lot of mixed game action but has fared well in no limit tournaments. Ross has two Mid-States Poker Tour final tables and a Heartland Poker Tour final table listed on his poker resume to go along with $191,000 in career tournament earnings. The Chicago pro has one Choctaw title to his name from 2013 and has a chance to add to his tournament haul.
Doug “Skippy” Lorgeree made a name for himself on the national level this summer when he finished runner-up in the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo event at the World Series of Poker. That score was worth $251,000 to Lorgeree as he battled a final table that included fellow “Cash Game” player Matt Glantz and 2016 Poker Hall of Fame Inductee Todd Brunson.
