We featured Matt Glantz earlier today as being a figurative “man of many hats” but are now shifting that mantra toward players who are actually wearing hats. A hat is a common and simple method of expression at the poker table and two players are building stacks while wearing unique caps.

Neil Volaski has chosen to wear a hat representing the Canadian Amateur Hockey Championships which sticks out in this crowd. When he’s not making relative fashion statements, Volaski has been a force on the felt in 2016. With cashes in the WPT and WSOP Circuit events hosted at Choctaw, Volaski is a trip to the payout cage away from the Choctaw “Triple Crown.”
There have been plenty of Oklahama City Thunder garb sported at Choctaw during this event, but none quite like Tim Cable’s camo hat. Cable has donned his bucket hat all through play today and is up over the 150,000 mark as a result. They say you can hear thunder rumbling from miles away and that is more or less where Cable stands among the chip counts as he looks to strike lightning before the end of the night.
