Justin Liberto has ascended to the top of the chip counts in post-dinner break play and will look to keep building into the end of the night.

Roughly half of the field remains as we march through Level 10 of Day 1B. More big stacks have come into play since play resumed with Justin Liberto currently sitting at the top. Liberto was within striking distance of the lead once the dinner break, and has quickly assumed the position on the other side of today’s action.

We featured Liberto in yesterday’s coverage as he is one of the more experienced and decorated players in this field with a World Series of Poker bracelet and a WPT final table to his name among other accolades. After busting late last night, Liberto gave it another shot today and that second bullet is paying immediate dividends. Liberto will be a difficult player to wrench the chip lead from but we are still a long way from asessing just who in face will wear the yellow jersey from this flight.

Also contending for the chip lead is a group of experienced players that include Cord Garcia, Travis Dorsey and Josh Vizcarra. An updated look at the chip counts is below.

Justin Liberto – 135,000
William Black – 120,000
Kai Yang – 105,000
Cristobal Romano – 95,000
Tim Cable – 92,000
Cord Garcia – 90,000
Travis Dorsey – 85,000
Josh Vizcarra – 80,000
