PNIA Main Event (Day 1A): Setting The Early Pace

Level 8 (200/400/50)
Total PNIA Main Event Entries: 173

We are still a long way away from the end of play for Day 1A and while the EOD chip leader is likely lurking somewhere out in the field, a few players have launched themselves into contention to the owner of the yellow jersey when play wraps up later tonight.

Nam Pham has built his stack over the course of the last few levels and is inching near the 90,000 mark. Pham finished second in an event during January’s WSOP Circuit stop at Choctaw sent him to the payout cage to collect $18,000. Pham is without a recorded live tournament victory and wouldn’t be opposed to having it come here.
Phillip Barch started out of the gate quick from the moment play started and is now over 100,000 only a level from the dinner break. Nearly all of Barch’s $23,000 in earnings have come at Choctaw and he has a chance to multiply those earnings in a large quantity if he continues to build his stack at this rate.
