PNIA Main Event (Day 1A): Gregg Merkow Goes For Consecutive PNIA Final Tables

Level 7 (150/300/25)
Total PNIA Main Event Entries: 169

The last time Poker Night in America came through Choctaw, Gregg Merkow was at the final table and is back in action today looking for another deep run.

Gregg Merkow is no stranger to success in the tournament circuit and that is especially true here at Choctaw. Merkow is the owner of two career titles to go along with his fourth-place run in April’s Poker Night in America Main Event.

That score earned Merkow $99,000 to accompany his $1,800,000 in career tournament earnings. In order to make another deep run in this event, Merkow will have to battle through a treacherous Day 1A starting table that includes T.J. Cloutier and Poker Night in America Cash Game participant Kane Kalas.

Merkow took down the 2005 WSOP Circuit event in Tunica, MS for a $561,000 score and is in search of another main event victory to go along with his numerous other poker accolades. Given his home field advantage in the large confines of the Grand Theater, Merkow certainly has his eyes set on making a return trip to “The Final Table.”
